The break offers mainly right-hand waves and works best around mid-tide on the rise. It's a popular spot that can get crowded when conditions are good. Surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, pollution, and localism. Optimal surf occurs when a northeast swell aligns with northwest winds, with the most consistent clean waves typically found in winter, especially in November.
