Punta Quilla in Rivas Province is an exposed beach break that is often working, especially during Summer with July offering the most reliable surf. It performs best with northeast offshore winds and south-southwest groundswells, producing both left and right-hand waves. The break works best around high tide, and while it can get busy when the surf is up, rips and rocks are notable hazards.
