Playa Rosada is an exposed beach break in Nicaragua that offers fun, consistent surf. It works best with offshore winds from the east and groundswells from the south. The most favorable conditions occur when a south swell combines with light offshore east winds. The beach provides both left and right-hand waves and is usually uncrowded, even during good swells. Surfers should be cautious of strong rips and shifting sandbars. The best time for consistent, clean surf is during the summer months, particularly from May to August.
