Playa Colorado in Tola Province is an exposed river mouth break that is very consistent, with northeast offshore winds and southwest groundswells producing reliable lefts and rights. It breaks well on all tides and offers some of the best waves in the region, especially during the summer, with July delivering the most consistent clean surf. Although rarely crowded, access can be limited as it is a private beach.
