Greenhill in Rhode Island is a fairly exposed beach break with a reliable mix of groundswells and windswells, favoring south-southeast swell and offshore winds from the north-northeast. It offers both left and right beach breaks, plus a left-hand point, and is best around low tide. While not usually crowded, surfers should be cautious of rocks and rips. The most consistent clean surf is typically found in spring, especially in September.
