Dogmans (Rincon) in Puerto Rico is a reasonably exposed reef break with fairly consistent surf year-round. It works best with offshore winds from the east and swells from the west-northwest, receiving both groundswells and windswells. There is no reef break, and the spot offers good surf at all tide stages. It can get crowded at times, with hazards including urchins, rips, man-made dangers like buoys, and localism. The best conditions occur during winter, particularly in January.
