Les Laurons in Cote d'Azur is an exposed reef break that offers fairly consistent surf, with autumn and winter serving as the peak seasons. It performs best with a west-southwest swell and offshore winds from the east-northeast; while local windswells are the norm, groundswells do occasionally make an appearance. The spot is versatile and remains surfable at all stages of the tide. As a fairly popular location, it can become crowded when the waves are on, and surfers should be mindful of hazards such as sea urchins, potential pollution, and a degree of localism.
