Vila Nova on Ilha Terceira in the Azores is an exposed right-hand reef and point break with consistent surf, especially in autumn and winter. It works best with north swells and offshore winds from the south, typically performing best around high tide. The best month to surf Vila Nova is December, when winter swells and offshore winds combine for clean, rideable conditions.
