The most favorable conditions are a Northwest groundswell combined with offshore winds from the East. The break works best around mid tide when the tide is rising. The spot is a popular wave that can get crowded. Surfers should be aware of urchins, rocks, and crowds. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
