Praia do Pescador is a fairly exposed beach break in the Algarve that has inconsistent waves, with winter being the favored time of year for surfing. The break offers both left and right-hand waves and works best with a southwest swell combined with offshore winds from the north or northeast. The spot is usually moderately crowded, especially during peak season. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in January.
