Praia do Osso da Baleia is a fairly exposed beach break in Beira that offers consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West-Southwest swell (from windswells or groundswells) combined with offshore winds from the East-Southeast. The break's quality isn't affected by the tide. The spot is likely to be crowded if working, and surfers should be aware of dangerous rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
