Lagou on Ilha do Graciosa in the Azores is an exposed reef break that usually has waves, with the best surf during autumn and winter. It works best with northwest swells and offshore winds from the southeast, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The break offers both left and right reef waves and is rarely crowded. Surfers should be cautious of reef hazards. The best month to surf Lagou is March.
