Cabedelo is an exposed beach/pier break in North Portugal that offers pretty consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West swell from a mix of groundswells and windswells combined with offshore winds from the East. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfers should be aware of dangerous rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
