Local Knowledge
Les Dunes in the Côte de Lumière is a fairly consistent exposed beach break, though it shares the regional tendency to go flat during the summer months. This spot is primarily fueled by groundswells, favoring a West-southwest swell angle. It produces both left and right-hand peaks that perform at their absolute best around high tide. As a popular and accessible beach, it can sometimes get crowded when the waves are on. The most favorable conditions occur when that West-southwest swell meets Northeast offshore winds, with March and the Spring season being the prime time for consistent, clean surf.
