State Line in Oregon South is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent surf, offering the best conditions in summer. Offshore winds from the northeast complement groundswells from the southwest, producing both left and right waves. The break works best around mid tide and can get crowded when surfable. Surfers should be cautious of rips, sharks, and rocks. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during winter, especially in January.
