Roads End in North Oregon is an exposed beach and reef break offering fairly consistent surf year-round. It performs best with offshore winds from the east and primarily receives groundswells, with the ideal swell direction from the west. Waves break both left and right at the beach, along with left and right reef breaks offshore. When conditions are favorable, the spot can get crowded. Surfers should exercise caution due to rip currents and occasional shark sightings. The best surfing conditions typically occur in winter, especially in January, with clean, rideable waves.
