Rainbow Rocks in Oregon South is an exposed beach and reef break with pretty consistent surf year-round. It works best with offshore winds from the northeast and receives a mix of groundswells and windswells, with an ideal swell direction from the west-northwest. The break offers both left and right hand waves and can get crowded when conditions are good. Hazards include rips, sharks, and rocks. The best time for consistent clean waves is during autumn, especially in October.
