Pacific City in North Oregon is an exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf year-round. It receives a mix of groundswells and windswells, with the ideal swell direction from the west and offshore winds from the east. The spot features a left-hand reef break and can get crowded at times. Surfers should be cautious of rip currents and sharks. The best conditions typically occur in winter, especially January, when clean, rideable waves are most frequent.
