Lincoln City in North Oregon is an exposed beach and reef break with fairly consistent surf year-round. It works well on both groundswells and windswells, with the ideal swell direction from the west and offshore winds from the east. The spot features mainly left-breaking waves at the beach, along with both left and right breaks over the reef. When conditions are good, the water can get quite crowded. The best surfing typically occurs in winter, especially in January, offering clean, rideable waves. Surfers should be cautious of rip currents and occasional shark sightings.
