Frankport in South Oregon is a fairly exposed beach and reef break with consistent surf, working best in winter and particularly in January. Optimal conditions occur with offshore winds from the east and a northwest swell, with waves breaking both left and right from a mix of windswells and groundswells. It’s often crowded, and surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, and sharks.
