Narbonne Plage in Languedoc-Roussillon is an exposed beach break with inconsistent surf, making winter the most reliable season for catching a session. It performs best with an east swell and offshore winds from the northwest, though waves are almost exclusively short-period windswells rather than groundswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is notably quiet, as it very rarely gets crowded. The most optimal conditions occur when the primary easterly windswell aligns with a steady northwesterly offshore breeze.
