Les Ayguades in Languedoc-Roussillon is an exposed breakwater break that works infrequently, with winter offering the most reliable window for a session. It performs best with an east-northeast swell and offshore winds from the west, though the spot also benefits from some shelter against northerly winds. Due to the limited fetch, waves are exclusively windswells rather than groundswells, typically producing left-handers off the breakwater. The spot is notably versatile, as it remains surfable at all stages of the tide, and its location ensures it never gets crowded. However, surfers should remain cautious of the rocks.
