Le Racou in Languedoc-Roussillon is an exposed beach and reef break with inconsistent surf, particularly during the summer when it tends to be flat. It performs best with an east-southeast swell and offshore winds from the west, with waves most commonly generated by local windswells. The spot is quite versatile, offering both left and right-handers at the beach, while the reef typically produces higher-quality lefts; notably, the surf quality remains consistent regardless of the tide.
