West Peak in Aquitaine is an exposed beach break that offers dependable surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; notably, the quality of the surf remains consistent regardless of the tide. However, when the conditions are prime, the lineup can become significantly overcrowded, making surfing potentially hazardous. The best conditions occur when a West swell combines with East offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
