Le Poux in Normandy is an exposed beach and reef break that frequently remains flat during the summer months. It performs best with a west-northwest swell and offshore winds from the east-northeast, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is unlikely to be crowded, even when the surf is up. However, surfers should remain vigilant as rocks in the lineup present a significant hazard. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in April.
