Bradley Beach in New Jersey is an exposed beach break that offers consistent waves, with the best surf typically found in summer and early fall. Offshore winds from the northwest pair well with south and southeast swells, generating fun, peaky lefts and rights over multiple sandbars. The break is surfable at all tide stages, though mid tide often delivers the best combination of shape and power. While weekdays can be relatively quiet, weekends draw heavier crowds due to the town’s popularity. Surfers should watch for strong rip currents and occasional shorebreak. The most consistent clean waves usually occur in August and September.
