Scituate in Massachusetts is a semi-exposed beach and point break area that offers consistent surf during the fall and winter months, with October through December delivering the most reliable clean waves. It works best on long-period east to northeast swells with offshore winds from the west or northwest, and mid to high tide often provides the best shape. Depending on the swell, Scituate can produce everything from mellow rollers to steeper, more powerful sections, drawing a mix of longboarders and shortboarders.
