Punta Miramar in Leon Province is an exposed left-hand point break with consistent surf, best with northeast offshore winds and south-southwest groundswells, working best around low tide. Even when it’s breaking, it’s not usually crowded, though rips and rocks can be hazardous. The best conditions occur when a south-southwest swell combines with northeast offshore winds, with the most reliable clean surf during winter, especially in December.
