Wells Jetties in Maine is an exposed beach and jetty break with reasonably consistent surf that works year-round. It performs best when an east swell combines with offshore winds from the northwest. Waves come equally from local windswells and distant groundswells, offering both left and right-hand waves. The best time to surf here is around low tide. When conditions are good, the spot can get crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, and pollution. The ideal season for consistent clean waves is winter, especially November.
