Moody Point in Maine is an exposed reef break that works only occasionally. It performs best with southeast swells and offshore winds from the northwest, offering both left and better right-hand reef breaks. Surf here is best around high tide, and when it’s working, crowds are likely. Surfers should watch out for rips, rocks, and pollution. The prime time for clean, rideable waves is during winter, especially in December.
