Maine Beach in Maine is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent surf that can work year-round. It performs best with southeast swells and offshore winds from the west, offering both left and right-hand waves and working well around mid tide. Despite reliable conditions, it’s typically uncrowded, even on good days. Hazards include rips and rocks. The prime time for clean, consistent waves is during summer, especially in August.
