Kennebunk Beach in Maine is a sheltered beach break with quite reliable surf, especially during winter. The best conditions occur when an east-northeast swell aligns with offshore winds from the northeast. Both groundswells and windswells contribute equally, producing left and right-hand waves. Surf here is best around low tide as it’s rising. While the spot can get crowded when working, surfers should remain cautious of rips, rocks, and pollution. The peak season for consistent clean waves is winter, with March being the most favorable month.
