Grajagan Bay, also known as G-Land, is a very consistent exposed left-hand reef break in East Java. The prime surfing season is the dry season, from May to October. The most favorable conditions are a southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the east. The break works best around mid-tide. When the surf is on, it can get crowded, and surfers should be aware of urchins, rocks, and rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in August.
