Karang Haji, located at the Ocean Queen Hotel in West Java, is a quite reliable exposed right-hand reef break. The peak surfing season is the dry season, from May to October. The most favorable conditions are a southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the northeast. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide and is rarely crowded. Surfers should be aware of the private nature of the location. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in April.
