Wolf Island is a remote, boat- or kayak-accessed beach-break with gently shifting sandbars along Georgia’s undeveloped coast. Its best surf window arrives in fall into early winter, particularly October through December, when southeast to northeast swells from tropical systems and frontal storms coincide with offshore winds for cleaner wave form. Surf tends to peak at low to mid tide, offering mellow waist-high peaks that appeal to intermediate to advanced surfers seeking solitude.
