This legendary spot provides high-quality left and right-hand waves driven primarily by powerful groundswells; while it performs best around low to mid tide and offers some shelter from northeast winds, it is often heavily crowded, which can even make surfing hazardous. The best conditions reported for surf at Pantín occur when a Northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the Southeast, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves is the month of October.
