Playa de Baldaio in Galicia is a fairly exposed beach break with consistent surf that can work at any time of the year. This popular spot provides both left and right-hand waves driven by a mix of local windswells and distant groundswells; while it performs well at all stages of the tide, it can get crowded when the conditions are prime. The best conditions reported for surf at Playa de Baldayo - La Laguna occur when a North-northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the South-southeast, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is the month of December.
