Pedra do Sal in Galicia is an exposed beach break that usually has waves and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-handers, receiving an equal measure of windswells and groundswells; while it stays surfable at all stages of the tide, it is easily blown out by onshore breezes and can get quite busy when conditions are right. The best conditions reported for surf at Pedra do Sal occur when a North-northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the South-southeast.
