South Beach Pavilion in South Florida is a sheltered beach and reef break with reasonably consistent surf, favoring summer conditions but offering the best clean waves during winter, particularly January. It works best with a southeast swell and offshore winds from the west, receiving mostly local windswells with occasional groundswells. The break produces both left and right-hand waves and can get crowded when working. Surfers should be cautious of crowds, sharks, and rocks.
