Palmetto Pavilion in Florida is a beach and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Summer is the optimum time of year for surfing here. When it's working, conditions are best when a southeast swell pairs with offshore winds from the west, producing both left and right-hand waves. This spot is likely to be crowded when it's working. Hazards include crowds, sharks, and rocks. While it is a dependable location, the month of January tends to offer the best chance for consistent, clean waves.
