John Lloyd State Park is a reasonably consistent beach and reef break. The beach has a natural reef just 100 yards offshore and artificial reefs located about 300 feet offshore. This spot is surfable at all stages of the tide and is not too crowded. There are no lifeguards, so swimming and surfing are at your own risk. Other hazards include sharks.
