Crossroads in North Florida is an exposed sandbar break that only works occasionally, with no clear seasonal consistency. Offshore winds from the west-southwest paired with an east-southeast swell offer the best surf. Both local windswells and distant groundswells contribute to the wave quality, producing lefts and rights. When conditions align, it can get crowded. Hazards include rips, undertow, and sharks. The best time for clean, rideable waves is during summer, especially in July.
