Coral Cove Park in South Florida is an exposed reef break with fairly consistent surf, especially during winter. Offshore winds from the west create the best conditions when combined with a north-northeast swell. The reef favors left-hand waves and performs best around low tide. Despite good waves, the spot remains relatively uncrowded. Surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, and sharks. The most reliable clean surf typically occurs in winter, with September being the prime month.
