Blowhole in North Florida is a fairly exposed beach break with quite reliable surf that works year-round. The best conditions occur when offshore winds from the southwest combine with an east-southeast swell. This beach break offers both left and right hand waves and is best around low tide when the tide is rising. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfers should beware of crowds and submerged stumps. The best time for consistent, clean waves is during winter, especially in December.
