Blind Creek Park in Fort Pierce, Florida, is a beach break that's considered a "sometimes spot" and is not consistently working. The optimum time of year for surfing is during the fall and winter, especially with hurricane season bringing in good swells. When it is working, conditions are best when a northeast (NE) swell pairs with offshore winds from the west or northwest (W/NW), which can produce powerful waves that break "way out back over a sand-filled reef" and have "exceptionally good form." It is best to surf here on a high tide. This spot is often uncrowded, and the local vibe is described as welcoming and friendly. Hazards include sandbars and reefs, with the spot having a mix of both. There can also be strong currents that will try to sweep you south, especially with a north/northwest wind and an outgoing tide. While it is a fickle location, the winter tends to offer the best chance for consistent, clean waves.
