Local Knowledge
Beacon Point in North Florida is an exposed point break with reasonably consistent surf that works year-round. The best conditions occur when offshore winds from the west-southwest combine with an east swell. This fairly popular spot can sometimes get crowded and receives both windswells and groundswells in equal measure. The best time for consistent, clean waves is during summer, especially in July.
