30th Street is an exposed beach break in South Florida with generally consistent surf, though it's more dependable than spectacular. The best conditions come when northeast swells align with offshore winds from the southwest, providing cleaner waves. The break offers both left and right peaks and works best around a rising low tide, especially in the mornings. Crowds are moderate when it's working, and surfers should watch out for rips, submerged rocks, and localism. Winter—particularly January—often brings the most dependable, rideable surf here.
