21st Street in South Florida is a fairly exposed beach break that only works when conditions align, with no strong seasonal consistency. Offshore winds from the west combine best with north-northeast swells to produce left-hand beach breaks. It works best around low tide as the tide is rising. The spot is often crowded when it’s breaking. Hazards include rips, obstacles, localism, pollution, and sharks. The most reliable clean waves typically occur during winter, with January offering the best chances.
