Karramarro in Pais Vasco is a fairly exposed point break that only works once in a while, with winter being the optimal season for waves. This spot features a left-hand point break fueled by a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it is best surfed around low tide, it is a popular wave that can become crowded. Visitors must be cautious of rocks, which pose a significant hazard. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southwest offshore winds, with January being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
