Boca Tusubres is an exposed reef and point break that delivers powerful, barreling waves when solid swells arrive. It works best with offshore winds from the east and strong groundswells from the south to southwest. The most favorable conditions occur when a southwest swell combines with clean offshore east winds. The break offers both left and right-hand barrels and tends to attract advanced surfers. Surfers should be extremely cautious of sharp reef, fast takeoffs, and strong currents.
